„Successfully completed Project Activities“
As part of the project, all planned activities are successfully being completed.
The project included the development of project documentation related to planning, implementation, and evaluation activities, ensuring a comprehensive structure for project management. The documentation successfully produced within the project includes:
- Tender for selecting the most favorable bidder for the exploration of geothermal waters for the purpose of obtaining a geothermal water extraction permit, which encompasses a wide range of key activities and documentation. Details of each segment of the tender are provided below:
- Geothermal Potential Study: This study will provide a detailed analysis of geothermal resources in the targeted area, including an assessment of the available geothermal energy quantity, depth, and temperature of geothermal waters, as well as the technical feasibility of their exploitation.
- Environmental Protection Study: The preparation of this study will be crucial for assessing the impact of planned geothermal water exploration on the environment. It will encompass an environmental impact assessment and proposed protective measures to ensure the preservation of natural resources and minimize negative impacts.
- Conceptual construction project for obtaining a location permit for the drilling work circle of exploration borehole GT-1,
- Conceptual and oil-mining project for drilling and testing the exploration borehole Vukovar GT-1.
The importance of collaboration with the local community and partners from Iceland, EFLA, is particularly emphasized, ensuring a broader perspective and support for achieving project goals. The documentation produced will be a key tool for identifying challenges and making informed decisions. Transparency and accountability towards all project stakeholders have been ensured through systematic management and documentation of activities.
In addition to the aforementioned documentation, study visits for both our representatives to Iceland and the arrival of our partners to Croatia (Vukovar) have been successfully arranged throughout the project implementation, along with continuous provision of promotional services and visibility aimed at disseminating information to the interested public.
Now, in this final stage, a detailed analysis of the achieved results and impacts of the activities is being carried out. The preparation of the final report will be thorough, summarizing the key lessons learned and providing recommendations for future projects of a similar nature. The aim of all the activities mentioned is to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project and achieve positive social, economic, and environmental impacts in the local community.
